Privacy Policy

The site is served as static HTML. There is no login, no account, and no database that stores information about visitors. What we see is aggregated usage data from the analytics tools described below: which pages are visited, where visits come from (for example a search engine or a social network), and which outbound links are clicked.

If you submit your email address through the newsletter form, we will collect that address and use it only to send the Tovorify newsletter. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

This site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel automatically collects standard server log data — IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps — as part of normal infrastructure operation. This data is held by Vercel under their own privacy policy. We do not access or process this data ourselves.

Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.

Google Analytics 4 helps us see how readers move through the site and which tools they click through to. It uses cookies and collects data such as pages viewed, approximate location (country and city, derived from a truncated IP address), device and browser type, and the site that referred you. Google processes this data under its privacy policy. We have turned off Google's optional data sharing and all advertising features.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google Analytics stays off until you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. Everywhere else it is on by default and you can click “Decline”. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Right now the site has no affiliate links. If that changes, we will say so on the page. The companies we link to (Canva, GitHub, and others) operate their own websites and set their own cookies once you arrive on their pages. Refer to each company's privacy policy for details on how they handle your data.

If Google Analytics is active, it sets two first-party cookies on tovorify.com: _ga and _ga_LFJ4Y1CNX0, which distinguish visits and last up to two years. Your cookie choice itself is stored in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. No other cookies are set by Tovorify.

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information through this site, contact us and we will remove it.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have the right to:

• Know what personal information is collected about them
• Know whether personal information is sold or disclosed, and to whom
• Say no to the sale of personal information
• Access their personal information
• Request deletion of their personal information
• Not be discriminated against for exercising their privacy rights

Tovorify does not sell or share personal information for advertising. Analytics data is used only to improve the site, and you can opt out with “Decline” in the cookie banner. If you have submitted your email for the newsletter, you can request its deletion by contacting us.

If we add features that collect personal data — analytics, a connected newsletter service, or anything else — we will update this policy before those features go live and note the change at the top of this page with a new “Last updated” date.
